Electrofusion Machine Installation Steps

1. Below are the common steps to install electrofusion machine: 
2. First of all clean the surface of the HDPE pipe ends.
3. Scrap the pipe ends if required Insert pipe ends into the coupler.
4. Secure coupler using clamps.
5. Connect the electrofusion machine push leads into the coupler two pins.
6. Start the fusion cycle with correct fusion time manually or by barcode scanner.
7. Therefore After fusion, time waits for a cooling time as given in the fittings.
8. Pressure test the pipe.

Electric power supply: Electrofusion welding power supply is constant voltage. The constant machines would provide more consistent energy. However, leading to high electrical resistance in the coil.
